Invest Seoul hosted Seoul Forward, an investment promotion program introducing Seoul’s investment environment and business support programs to global companies, in Silicon Valley and Los Angeles this May.
Through Seoul Forward, Invest Seoul showcased Seoul’s investment opportunities, foreign investment support programs, and tailored business support services. In particular, the team held one-on-one meetings with companies in the AI, robotics, and F&B sectors that have strong interest in entering the Seoul market, discussing their business needs and potential support measures for their expansion into Seoul.
Invest Seoul also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Plug and Play, one of the world's leading startup accelerators, to explore the establishment of an AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) in Seoul and discuss ways to strengthen cooperation with global AI companies. In addition, Invest Seoul expanded its network with investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts while showcasing Seoul’s growing innovation ecosystem.
Invest Seoul will continue to identify and support promising global companies through Seoul Forward. The program will continue in Paris and San Diego this June as part of Invest Seoul’s ongoing efforts to attract global businesses to Seoul.
