Date: 2026-09-18

On September 7, Invest Seoul hosted a Seoul Market Entry Workshop for a delegation from the UCLA Anderson School of Management's Executive MBA (EMBA) program at the Seoul Financial Hub in One IFC, Yeouido.

The workshop opened with welcoming remarks from Duk Shik Suh, Director-General of the Investment Promotion Center at Invest Seoul, and Professor Uday Karmarkar of UCLA Anderson. Approximately 60 participants attended, including EMBA delegates representing global companies across industries such as AI, finance, and biotech, along with representatives from UCLA Anderson.

Invest Seoul introduced Seoul's business and investment environment, strategic industries, foreign direct investment (FDI) incentives, and the support programs available to foreign companies, and shared how the city's deep pool of talent, customers, infrastructure, and investors can help global companies validate market opportunities and grow their businesses.

Hyunho Park, CEO of Moonlight Partners, also shared insights into Seoul's startup ecosystem, business infrastructure, and policy incentives from the perspective of an investor and startup operator. His presentation drew strong interest from participants and was followed by an engaging Q&A on Seoul's startup and investment landscape.

Invest Seoul will continue to expand its network with UCLA Anderson and other leading global educational institutions and business leaders, and to support the discovery of new investment, partnership, and market entry opportunities based in Seoul.
